We didn’t expect school closure but it did. So we stayed indoor. Too much snow everywhere. And since we do not have a 4WD. We can’t parked at some pile of snow. And I need to find a slot where the car has left so I can park in that spot. Or else I would be stuck inside. Drama much.

2jie bought this China type of costume for lil J. So I got him to wear it. And took pictures.

Then we went for Chinese class. And teacher made dumplings (饺子) with the children.

big J had vegetarian ones of course.

and we came home and made an igloo… with the Neighbours.

After that we joined the Chinese community (through the Chinese teacher) for reunion dinner. A very chinese one. With all the northern Chinese food.

Cold dish were spicy sourish chicken feet, pig ears and pig stomach.

Main dish were 2 types of fish, Kung po chicken, long beans, pork throttles and dumplings.

For the Chinese, it’s a must to eat dumpling.

Learnt something new again.

Got home, change the kids, gave them their Ang bao and send them to bed.
