Asia week in many local supermarket… and i asked TH if he wants to eat satay because Lidl is selling them. On Sat after werkstatt cafe, hungry and craving… he die die need to go kaufland to get lemongrass. 🙄 So whole family went. Paid 90€ ,came out and went home without lemongrass. 🏻 we don’t even need groceries… And sunday morning, he marinated the chicken meat for satay without lemongrass… replaced it with ginger,galanga and lemon. The bones and skin were pressured cook for 1h and used to make chicken broth for 鸡白汤. (No food wastage) At dinner, i told TH, normally satay is a bit of meat and alot of sticks. His reply: satay sticks are expensive here. 🤣 (3 sticks is equivalent to 1 drumstick) And then he commented…. The peanut butter we have is pumpkin spice… i said yes… i bought wrongly…. During halloween time… and it is so gross… TH: i used 3 spoonful… the taste came out with all the cumin and various random herbs… Honestly, taste was good. Chicken is tender and moist… the rest are to be make i to wrap for dinner tonight… #storyofsatay
