Every year when people asked when are we settling down, i would brush them off and say… when we clocked 10 years. Then the 10. Year mark came nearer and nearer and my mom is worried that if we don’t get married, we won’t anymore. #truestory And also he might find some “hot ass” scientists… I always like the story of the LOVE collection so on that Saturday after eating Japanese food (in Düsseldorf), we randomly went into Cartier to check out the price. And somehow left the shop with wedding bands.(reason: coz it was less than what we expected) No wedding in mind, no wedding date… no proposal but 2 rings. 🤣 The rings were inside my bedside table for almost 2 years before we finally cave in to our parents and gave them the wedding they wanted. 10 years later… from 2, we became 5. As we laid in bed, i asked… what would u have done differently… He said… have kids earlier. TH was a late bloomer. When we got married, he was still doing phd. Earlier … like how? Single income?
